The Nature Center is Now Open!

      

The Lake Erie Islands Nature and Wildlife Center is open for the 2009 season.

The new museum welcomes a return of the many school groups that thoroughly enjoyed the informative displays in the past. New for 2009 is a nature trail in the wooded area of the property.

Donations for the operation and evolution of this island treasure can be made to the "Nature Museum Fund" c/o Lake Erie Islands Historical Society, P.O. Box 25, Put-in-Bay, Oh 43456. If you would like more information please call 419-285-3037.

The committee is also selling one square meters of the property to help support this project. For $50.00 you receive an honorary ownership certificate and a donation receipt for tax purposes.

**The Village of Put-in-Bay also has a Memorial Brick Walkway along the downtown harbor. Contact the village at 419-285-8545 if you purchased a brick for their project.**
